It’s that special time of year for romance or for some, just going out with friends! Whatever your plans are, here’s some ways in which you can dress to impress.

Try a tunic paired with fun tights and heels for a comfy yet chic V-Day ensemble. Prove you’re trend savvy by adding a a chic collar necklace!

For a nice dinner you could wear a romantic empire waist dress with a shorter skirt that has volume. Separates will work too! Just pair it with cute tights, your favorite pair of pumps, and simple jewelry.

You could also go with a straight fitted dress like the two shown below. Wear heels to give the illusion of long gams. Accessorize with a stylish boxy clutch and a bold necklace and you are ready for a terrific night on the town.

Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean you are required to wear a dress! Go with a voluminous peplum top contrasted with skinny jeans and throw on some bangles for that rebellious effect. You might also try making the classic Valentine’s pastel shades pop with a bright pair of pumps or other accessory of your choice, like in the example below.

All of these classic silhouettes should be available in your local thrift shops or on the sale racks at the mall. If you follow our simple outfit structuring guidelines, you’ll be sure to be reaping up the compliments all night. Who needs a box of chocolates and flowers when you have the smartest ensemble in the room?
